One of the residents responsible for making Crofton, Maryland, the community it is today is Kaye Callahan.
As a young mom in the late 60's/early 70's, Kaye spearheaded the effort to line Crofton Parkway with flowering cherry trees and other sections of the community with Bradford Callery Pear trees. Crofton residents have enjoyed the fruits of her efforts (or should I say "blooms" of her efforts) for four decades. Beautiful pictures and so true. I hope all is well in your end of the world. I have been busy with listings & a few sales. Rob is getting ready to open the doors on his new ventures (which has kept me busy as well) He is opening a carryout on a main road to the beach. He should open his doors the end of this month.

Karen - Yes, I did. Crofton's cherry blossoms are amazing, although aging.
